Making Yummy and Simple Spaghetti

Spaghetti is a dish that is loved by many and can be made in a variety of ways. Here’s a simple recipe that will satisfy your taste buds in no time. 


Ingredients

 - 1 lb spaghetti - 1 tablespoon olive oil - 1 tablespoon salt - 4 cloves of garlic (minced) - 1 can of diced tomatoes - 1/2 teaspoon dried basil - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes - Parmesan cheese (grated) 


Instructions: 


1. Boil the spaghetti: Fill a large pot with 4-6 quarts of water and bring it to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the spaghetti. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the spaghetti is al dente. 


2. Make the sauce: While the spaghetti is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. 


3. Add the tomatoes: Add the can of diced tomatoes to the skillet and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Let the sauce simmer for 5-8 minutes. 


4. Combine spaghetti and sauce: Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Give it a stir and let it cook together for a few minutes. 


5. Serve and enjoy: Once the spaghetti and sauce are well combined, it's time to serve it up. Dish out a portion of spaghetti onto a plate and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over it. And there you have it! A delicious and simple spaghetti dish that is perfect for any occasion. Serve it alongside a green salad and some garlic bread for a complete meal. Enjoy!
